Step 1

Plan of action

In the first meeting/phone call, it's all about you.

We want to know exactly what your goals are and what you're trying to achieve, and explain to you what is required to get there.

For example, we’re first time buyers, we have a £30k deposit, we earn x amount, and we’d like to know what our maximum budget is and how much it's going to cost. OR, we have equity in our property and would like to try and buy our second property, can we do this, and how does it work?

We figure out the aims and come up with a plan. Not just the mortgage, but EVERYTHING that goes with it.

Step 2

Documents and research

We will require, as will most lenders, document evidence of all the key info we use. ‍

Proof of income, outgoings, identification etc. with these key documents, along with exactly what you're trying to achieve, we go away, do our research and come up with a plan.

If required, we’ll get you the mortgage in principle you require, and we do this ALL FOR FREE.

Step 3


This is where we come back to you with our plan.

We will be able to tell you EXACTLY how much you could borrow, what rates and monthly payments you're going to be paying, and cover off all the fees included, if any.

With this information and the mortgage AGREED IN PRINCIPLE, you're ready to view properties and put offers in, knowing exactly how much it's going to cost you going forward.

Step 4


Having found your property and a sale price agreed, this is where we would plan to talk/meet again, tweak the numbers to fit and APPLY.

We will also cover off making sure you have a suitable solicitor ready, and all the relevant insurances set up if required.

Step 5

We don't stop there

Once we’ve applied, we not only keep in touch with you about the progress of the application, but we keep track of everything needed right through until the day you collect your keys.

We make sure absolutely everything falls into place for you, so you can sit back and just enjoy the process and most of all, THE OUTCOME!

Step 6

We're still here to help

We understand that our help doesn’t end when you get the keys and finally get to sit down on that new sofa with your favourite takeaway the evening you move in.

‘What happens when my first mortgage deal ends’ or ‘what happens if our circumstances change’ are questions you will find yourself asking.
